Flaucher

The Flaucher refers to the natural Isar floodplains and gravel islands south of the city center, where the river splits into several channels. As part of the "Isar renaturation" project, the river here was restored to a more natural state. On warm summer days, locals flock to its gravel beaches, grilling meadows and the adjoining Hofbräukeller beer garden.
